The VAT inside a European price
Why €118 is €98.33 before anything else comes off.
A €118 price at 20% VAT contains €19.67 of tax: 118 − 118 ÷ 1.20. That money was never yours. Where Shopify recorded the tax on the order, Profflow uses that figure — it covers reduced rates and the customer’s own country. Where it did not, your rate is used and the line says so.
