Prepare your UK VAT return
The nine boxes, with the sales side filled from your orders.
Box 1 is VAT on UK sales; box 6 is all sales excluding VAT, with exports in it as zero-rated. Boxes 4 and 7 are purchases, which are in your books rather than in Shopify — type them in. Export the nine boxes for your accountant or your Making Tax Digital software.
