Measured and estimated figures
Why some numbers carry a badge, and how to make more of them measured.
A measured figure comes from a record: an order, a refund, a fee a processor charged, ad spend an ad account reported, a cost you entered for a product. An estimated figure comes from a rate: the percentage you typed for goods you have not costed, or a fee rate for a processor you have not connected.
- Goods: measured where the variant has a cost, estimated at your percentage where it does not.
- Payment fees: measured when Stripe, PayPal, Klarna or Mollie is connected; otherwise your rate.
- Ad spend: measured by day when the ad account is connected; otherwise your monthly figure.
- Shipping: measured when Sendcloud is connected or a carrier invoice is imported.
Orders shows how many orders are fully costed. That share is the quickest way to see how far your profit figure can be trusted.
